As of November 1, the solar energy systems eligible for the District’s RPS solar requirement include 3,920 solar PV and 115 solar thermal systems in the District. In addition, 2,472 solar energy systems outside of the District are eligible. The total reported capacity associated with these systems is about 81.8 MW, of which roughly 57.9 MW is located within the District. Recent pricing on Flett Exchange show DC SRECs are currently trading around $270, down from $290 reported last month. SRECTrade is reporting a bid price of $295, compared to $320 last month.
