THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION WELCOMES MR. IRVIN BROOMS AS THE NEW PARALEGAL SPECIALIST.
Irvin (“Irv”) Brooms joined the Public Service Commission (Commission) on June 12, 2017, as a Paralegal Specialist in the Office of the General Counsel (OGC).
Prior to joining the Commission, Mr. Brooms worked as an investigator for the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. In this role, he conducted investigations of complaints filed against healthcare practitioners. Prior to that, he served as a Paralegal Specialist at the Department of Justice.
Mr. Brooms received a Bachelor Degree in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts and a Master’s degree from the University of Baltimore. In Mr. Broom’s free time, he travels, enjoys water sports, and spends time with his wife and two sons.
