
On July, 11, 2016, the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia (Commission) welcomes Gary Pulliam as a General Engineer in the Office of Infrastructure and System Planning (OISP). He’s worked the past ten months as a contractor in OISP performing general engineering responsibilities. Prior to working for the Commission, Gary worked for Exelon Corporation in Maryland; his assignments included updating and maintaining configurations for DMZ Remote Terminal Units (RTUs, Novatech’s Orion LX) at the Monument Street Warehouse and Owings Mill.On July, 11, 2016, the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia (Commission) welcomes Gary Pulliam as a General Engineer in the Office of Infrastructure and System Planning (OISP). Mr. Pulliam’s experience also includes 40 years at Bethlehem Steel handling the following positions: twenty–six years (26) years as a Control/Information Technology Engineer, of which the last 20 years were spent as a Control engineer in the Power and Utility sector. Gary was the primary person responsible for handling the electrical system SCADA software and controls (Telvent SAGE 2300 remote terminal units) between centralized control room and plant substations (Total of 19 substations with a plant load of 300 MW). He spent ten years as a Process Control Engineer, and four years as an Air Pollution Technician. Gary holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and studied at Loyola College pursuing a Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
